I am a compassionate and inclusive Dyslexia Specialist Teacher & Assessor with over 20 years of experience in teaching, study skills support, and access arrangements. I specialise in supporting individuals with specific learning difficulties (SpLD) such as dyslexia, ADHD, maths difficulties, and DCD, helping them build confidence, overcome challenges, and unlock their full potential.
As an equity-focused professional, I am dedicated to creating learning environments that are accessible and fair, ensuring every learner is empowered to succeed.
Qualifications:
Level 7 Diploma in Teaching and Assessing Learners with Specific Learning Difficulties
Assessor Practising Certificate (current)
PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Registered Non-Medical Help (NMH) provider
In addition to my qualifications, I draw on first-hand experience supporting neurodivergent family members, giving me a unique, personal understanding of the challenges many individuals face. This lived experience, coupled with my work as a parent and community advocate, allows me to offer empathetic, tailored support that meets individual needs.
